got another card yesterday, from my sister. it's always nice to be remembered. today's yvonne's birthday, so johanne, sheina and i baked a cake for her. we're waiting until she gets back from the library to surprise her. i actually made breakfast for yvonne this morning. that's the first time i made breakfast for anyone here. jane brought zippy to the international center. she hadn't brought him to work with her since my first week working there last january. i'm scared of dogs. so jane pretty much kept zippy in her office when i was around. yesterday i noticed that the teacher of the satistic class that meets before my hindi class every week wears an earring on his left ear. it looks weird on him. and he also wears a wedding band. if i were his wife, i never would have let him wear the stupid earring, makes him look down right ugly.
