i am so mad. we had the islamic center project info session today. it's been planned for the last couple of weeks and all of us put a lot of work into it. presentations, ads, fliers... everything that needed to be done. so tonight was supposed to be the big night when we finally make this project public. the icc met at an hour early just to go over the presentation so that we won't screwed up. nine o'clock came and we're all folding our hands together anticipating a lot of people to show up. ten minutes past and we propped the door open incase people weren't sure which room we're in. another five minutes and taiwo showed up. okay, so there's still chance. ten more minutes and a harvard guy showed up. no sign of other people so we had to get started, with only two public audience in attendance. that was discouraging, of course. but what makes me feel so frustrated is that the door to the building was locked after nine, which none of us icc members realized because we were already in the building. how stupid can we get? it just makes me so mad. now we'll never get another chance to do this again.
