noureddine was talking about relationships today. i don't know if anyone else ever feels this way, but at one point of time i used to feel that there's no use in trying to get to know anyone and making new friends. because it's frustrating to have to let them go after i've made all the efforts of building our friendship. i mean, we put a lot of work to be a good friend and to find a good friend. then we go our separate ways. and that hurts, to say farewell. then we try to keep in touch, we hold on to the old memories. but after sometime, we realize that that's all there is, memories. and that hurts too. we are no longer the same persons we were before. we have changed so much that sometimes it's hard to imagine that this person used to be your friend. but what we had before was something really special. i'm not even sure if i'm making any sense to anyone. but that was how i used to feel. in the end, i've come to realize that the most solid relationships are the one with Him and the one formed by blood. friends come and go as i pass through the many phases of life.
