i feel guilty of not knowing some people's names. what's the big deal with friday being valentine's day? so what if you're alone/have to work/have class till late evening/have to help a friend do some chores? it's like any other day except that people decide to name it after some person called st valentine. big deal. if i can't even celebrate eid properly, why in the world should i care about this valentine's day, right? i think so. this is frustrating, i need usman's help but there's no way i can reach him now. stupid moi! should've figured this out earlier. atem is helping with promoting this fundraising event in her troy/albany community. it feels nice to know someone appreciates what we're doing and is willing to help out. even when people just spend time to listen, we feel enough gratitude as it is.
