these guys always make fun of how i pronounce certain words, like - anchovies, development, redirect, squirrel, spaghetti. my only consolation is that i can always turn to amir, and ask him how he pronounces those words. since he's from uk, he speaks
english. i think he speaks better english in terms of speaking it correctly. but whatever. we had dinner at diah's today. it was really nice of dewi and her to cook for us and have us over at their place. their apartment is so tiny. it looks and feels like a cabin inside. i mentioned to them that it looks like the house in snow white and the seven dwarves. although i did have to say "... with two snow whites and no dwarves". since they both are of cute size, they fit the house just fine. but when amir and usman entered the house, they looked like their heads were gonna burst through the roof. now, i'm just too tired to even open a book. i have to send in my critique tomorrow, i doubt i can finish it before seven. plus, barry wants me to meet him tomorrow morning to go over the patterns for playing bonang. i hope some other people will come too, it'll be really awkward if it's just him and i. i can't play bonang without the sound of demong, and barry will need to play the gendang to control the tempo. we'll see what will happen tomorrow. i've more pressing matter on my mind right now - sleep.
